 Acom Place community. Peel Youth Village is a four-storey residential project designed to house and assist 48 youths aged 16 to 30. Peel Youth Village will provide young people with supports to help them move from the street to stability. Under the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program the federal government contributed $1,197,559 and Ontario gave $658,000. The Region of Peel provided $426,024 through grants in lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of. It does not mean in addition to.  property taxes and land donations.

Eighteen units for modest and low-income families opened in Saint-Eustache, Qc. The project received $1.6 million, $1,107,651 from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is a Canadian government agency. The agency is responsible for the housing industry in Canada. Its main duty is currently to ensure low cost mortgage loans are available to Canadians by providing insurance to lenders in case of  and Societe d'habitation du Quebec (50% each) private and community partners. Cooperative d'habitation Omega opened 18 units in the borough of La Haute-Saint-Charles, in Quebec City. Construction of this housing project cost more than $1.9 million, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation provided $676,350, and the Societe d'habitation du Quebec contributed $405,810. Quebec City provided a sum of $270,540. Other costs are being assumed by the Cooperative d'habitation Omega, in particular through a mortgage loan secured by the SHQ.
