New York Life Names Lane B. Kent Vice President.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2002

New York Life Insurance Company The New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) is the largest mutual life-insurance company in the United States, and one of the largest life insurers in the world.[3]  announced today that Lane B. Kent has been appointed to vice president in the company's long-term care insurance division. Mr. Kent is in the organization's sales department, responsible for the direction and promotion of long-term care sales activity.

Mr. Kent joined New York Life last year as corporate vice president of sales in the long-term care division. Prior to working with New York Life, he was a first vice president in charge of health insurance products with Mutual of Omaha Mutual of Omaha, best known for sponsoring the popular television show Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, is a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.  Brokerage since 1992.
