Mike Bookout relocated to the Alaska general office of New York Life Insurance Co. as an agent for the company in Soldotna.

Charlotte Abellera was hired by the Alaska office as an agent. Abellera previously worked as an administrative assistant for an engineering firm and lives in Anchorage. First National Bank Alaska hired Vivian Beer, Margaret Cunningham and Mark Underwood as managers of the bank's Muldoon, Eastchester and Eagle River branches, respectively.

Beer has 13 years of experience in the banking industry, including eight years as branch manager at local financial institutions. Cunningham, with 23 years of banking experience, has held numerous positions of responsibility within the financial industry in Alaska. Underwood comes to First National Bank with 17 years of Alaska banking experience. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Eagle River branch, including consumer and commercial lending.
