Murdock succeeds GARY WENDLANDT, who has been named senior executive vice president of New York Life. Wendlandt will remain as chairman of NYLIM NYLIM New York Life Investment Management LLC .
Murdock joined NYLIM as president in 2004. Before joining the company, he was chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
