New York Health exits home care business.

Take the 'home' out of New York Health Care Inc.'s services. The New York City-based medical group recently sold its home healthcare business to a company controlled by now-former NHC Chief Executive Officer Jerry Braun and Chief Operating Officer Jacob Rosenberg for $2.7 million, the firm announced.

New York Heath Care will instead focus on its specialty pharmaceutical company, BioBalance, and change its name to BioBalance Holdings Inc., the company reported. BioBalance specializes in developing treatment for various gastrointestinal disorders.
