Visitors and prospective pet owners alike can come to Union Square Park at 17th Street and Broadway from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and visit the FAVS booth to ask for free veterinary advice. They can get important health and safety tips from one of the leading specialty veterinarians in Manhattan, as well as pick up some giveaways.

Mayor's Alliance/Maddie's Pet Adoption Festivals are held on a regular basis on weekends in New York City parks This is a list of parks in New York City.

There are three entities that manage parks within New York City. Each agency has its own responsibilities for its own parks. The three agencies are as follows:
