New US pavilion planned for international EXPO REAL fair.

After witnessing double digit growth across the board in 2005, EXPO REAL will open an additional exhibition hall this year, bringing the total exhibition space to more than 710,000 s/f according to Claudia Boymanns, exhibition director.

The 10th annual international trade fair and conference will be held in Munich October 8-10, 2007

Last year, what has arguably grown to be the biggest trade fair and conference in the property market, visitors to EXPO REAL increased by 20%, the number of exhibitors grew by 15 %, and space got 25% bigger to encompass 592,000 s/f. In total, 21,112 visitors from 65 countries shopped the fair for three days. There were 1,638 exhibitors from 40 countries bringing an addition 15,534 individuals for a total participation of 36,646.

"Last year we had 29 exhibitors registered from the USA," said Claudia Boymanns, exhibition director. "This does not include companies such as Jones, Lang LaSalle, CB Richard Ellis, RE/MAX Commercial, ING, and a host of other US companies who registered through their European offices."

The three-day trade fair and conference also features nearly 100 symposia, round-tables, and presentations. This year's exhibit will feature a newly designed open-plan USA Pavilion. "The USA Pavilion is designed to create an advantage for smaller companies and first-time exhibitors by consolidating them under a broader umbrella which, in itself, becomes a destination point for anyone wishing to do business with the US," Boymanns added.

"It's a turn-key package including everything from signage to U-Bahn passes. Exhibitors literally need to arrive with only a lap top to be ready to work." The cost is 14,000 euros.

The 10th annual EXPO REAL takes place from October 8 - 10, in Munich Germany.
