New Triage ``Snapshot'' From CENSOFT Assesses Risks of Y2K--and Beyond.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999--

A new management software solution that provides an in-process "snapshot" of a company's data to quickly assess Y2K compliance risk exposures will be introduced by CENSOFT, Inc., at the Securities Industry Association Operations Conference & Exhibition May 12 in Boca Raton.

The "Y2K Triage Snapshot" helps companies conduct compliance and triage audits, determine risk exposure levels, and prioritize assets and resources for contingency planning. It also can be used to determine the status and Y2K compliance risks of any planned merger, acquisition or other project.

"The snapshot can be prepared in a few weeks and enables companies to find out which corporate sectors are Y2K compliant and which ones demand attention. It triages all Y2K compliance and enterprise data, pointing out all risk problems and the costs of not being compliant so companies can plan accordingly," said Geno Pandolfi, president of CENSOFT, Inc., a Group InfoTech Company (GIT).

GIT, through its three divisions, provides a variety of information technology solutions, including project consulting and management, application system development, e-commerce and payment technology, and turnkey solutions integration.

After the data is entered, the "snapshot" processes the information and loads it on to a CD which becomes a tool for Y2K and third-party audits, contingency planning, and management and project reviews.

CENSOFT also introduced a new generation of its "T2K Manager(tm)" software product which allows management of the entire Y2K compliance problem. It is the only program that integrates compliance and risk management functions with an automated Y2K triage function.

The new 1.2 version features a risk management modeling component with a unique graphical interface. Users can now view, in graph form, the triage risk and priority factors of all company assets and resources, along with the extent of the risk, appropriately color coded. The program also prioritizes the organization's assets and business resources.

Introduced in December 1998, T2K Manager helps companies triage the assets and operational environments that can impact them beyond the new year. This includes triage of vendors and suppliers; operational equipment; application systems; computer hardware; buildings/facilities; customers/partners; and network/telcom equipment.
