New TAPPI officers and directors.


Kathleen M. Bennett will become TAPPI TAPPI Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry  President at the conclusion of the TAPPI Annual Meeting March 4, 2003 in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. According to the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. A 2006 U.S. , USA. Bennett is vice president resource stewardship with Georgia-Pacific Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Willis J. Pelts, Jr., will serve as TAPPI Vice President. Potts is vice president and general manager at Inland Paperboard and Packaging in Rome, Georgia Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Rome is the largest city in and the county seat of Floyd County, Georgia, United States. It is the principal city of the Rome, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of Floyd County. , USA.

In addition to the new president and vice president, TAPPI Members elected five individuals to serve three-year terms on the TAPPI Board of Directors:

The name is derived from the large waterfall in the Hudson River at the southern base of the city. , USA.
