New Study: Cellular One(R) Best Voice Quality in Traverse City; Cellular One Network Outperformed Competition.

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. -- Wireless users in Traverse City get the best voice quality from Cellular One(R), according to results of a new independent survey released by the wireless provider.

Overall, Cellular One's state-of-the-art GSM network outperformed competing wireless networks measured, according to the independent third party network drive test that was conducted in April.

"We are focused on delivering our customers the best possible wireless experience," said Cellular One Spokesman Craig Davis. "These test results show that our efforts to enhance and expand our network in the Traverse City area have resulted in better service for our customers."

"Our Network Quality Assurance Team works nonstop to give area wireless users the best voice quality possible," Davis said. "And with recent expansions and enhancements in the area, we're strengthening our signal."

In the last six months, Cellular One has added new coverage in the Lake Ann area and enhanced coverage along Three Mile and Hammond roads by building new cell sites. Additionally, the company has relocated a cell site at Chrystal Mountain Resort to improve coverage throughout the resort area and north to Route 31.

Davis noted that Cellular One will continue to invest in network improvements to assure that customers enjoy the highest-quality wireless network wherever they live.

"With all the added voice and data features available in today's advanced cell phones, average usage by our customers continues to increase," he said. "Our commitment is to stay ahead of the curve and give our customers optimal network coverage and quality."
