New Soft Tissue Laser Designed Specifically for Hygiene; Premier Laser Systems To Exhibit New Aurora HL Dental Laser at California Dental Association Meeting.

Premier Laser Systems Inc (Nasdaq/NM:PLSIA) announced today that the Company's new dental laser designed specifically for dental hygiene procedures will be shown at the California Dental Association meeting September 16-18 at Moscone Center, San Francisco.

The Aurora(tm) HL is a 1.5-watt laser, an important addition to the Company's popular Aurora(tm) diode soft tissue laser line. With the Aurora HL, Premier is again leading the way with a low cost dental laser, and the first to be devoted to dental hygiene. The Aurora HL is currently under review for FDA 510(K) clearance.

The Company can provide no assurance of the positive outcome of FDA deliberations or of the timing of such approvals.

Sulcular debridement is a commonly performed procedure in which cleaning and disinfecting is done below the gum line.

The Aurora HL laser, like its FDA-cleared companion product Aurora, has been designed to perform this and other procedures such as frenectomies, gingivectomies, crown lengthening, implant recovery, incising and draining abscesses, laser assisted flap surgery and gingival troughing and more.

If cleared by the FDA, it will be marketed to dentists nationwide and overseas, and to hygienists in the 33 states where regulations allow hygienists to perform the procedure.
