New Society award stimulates collaboration among researchers. (National MS Society).


The National MS Society has created a "Collaborative col·lab·o·rate

1. To work together, especially in a joint intellectual effort.

 creative interaction among investigators working in MS and non-MS research fields. The idea is simple: Get groups of three or more researchers to collaborate on new ideas "New Ideas" is the debut single by Scottish New Wave/Indie Rock act The Dykeenies. It was first released as a Double A-side with "Will It Happen Tonight?" on July 17, 2006. The band also recorded a video for the track.  and recruit talented investigators to the MS field. The new five-year award can involve collaborative research among investigators working within a single institution or in different institutions. Groups that include at least one person conducting research in a non-MS research area have been given an edge in the competition.

The first round of applications for the award was submitted to the Society last October October: see month. , and collaborative projects will begin this spring.
