New SRC appointments for 2004.The Foundation Physical Therapy is pleased to announce two new appointments to its Scientific Review Committee(SRC (SouRCe) Contrast with DST, which is an abbreviation of "destination." ). Amy J. Bastian, PT, PhD, and Diane L Damiano, PT, PhD, will serve 3-year terms beginning January 1, 2004. Pamela K Levangie, PT, DSc, will begin a 2-year term as an ex-officio member of the SRC, when she assumes the role of President, APTA APTA American Physical Therapy Association. Section on Research, on, June 1, 2004. Anthony Delitto, PT, PhD, FAPTA, current President, APTA Section on Research, will remain on the SRC until December 31, 2004. Members are physical therapist with doctorates, and strong research and publication backgrounds, in addiction to significant grant writing and review experience. The SRC meets twice a year to review applications for Foundation scholarships, fellowships, and grants. The SRC recommend research projects that have the highest scientific and technical merit and importance to physical therapy--and recommends scholarship applications of doctoral students who have the greatest potential for adding to the body of knowledge in physical therapy--to to the Foundation's Board of Trustees board of trustees Politics The posse of thugs who oversee an institution's administration.
