New SIOR vice pres'.

The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS'[R] (SIOR) has named Richard E. Hollander executive vice president. The announcement was made by David T. Houston, SIOR president.

As the lead staff member for SIOR, Hollander's responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the 2,200 member organization.

In addition, Hollander will serve as the chief liaison with the board of directors, working to grow the organization and enhance the designation of SIOR.

Previously, he was the managing director of Washington Investment Partners, a private equity firm, where his responsibilities included acquiring retail real estate in the Southeast United States.

Other previous work experience includes serving as senior vice president and managing director with Randall H. Hagner and Company, a Washington, D.C. brokerage firm, and managing director of the Real Estate Advisory Services Group at Arthur Andersen.
