New SDR from Thales.

Thales has delivered the first tranche of its new software-defined HF radio, the MSN (Maritime Software Node) 8100H, which was designed for naval platforms and shore-based applications. The MSN meets the latest Nato HF standards and will be deployed aboard the Daring class Type 45 destroyers as a key component of the ship's Fully Integrated Communications Systems. The 8100H transceivers can be operated in a stand-alone mode or as part of a networked system offering voice, data, video and messaging services.
