New Report Shows Double Digit Growth in Base Metals for 2006.

 returns, particularly base metals, which saw a yearly return of 74%, whereas precious metals were more subdued at 28%. Average return in precious metals was watered down due to lower relative performance compared to base metals, except for Silver, which outshined all the precious metals at a return of about 46%. In the base metals, Nickel, Zinc & Tin showed excellent individual returns at 147%, 122% and 79% respectively. The most impressive returns were those of Tin, whose 2006 returns were up from a negative return in 2005. Lead proved to be a surprise with an impressive 59% return.
