Panasonic Personal Computer Company announced today the ultra-portable Toughbook 33, the latest entry in their line of rugged notebook PCs.

Weighing in at only 2.6 pounds, the ToughBook 33 is a full-performance Windows-based notebook PC with Intel Pentium(R) 266MHz CPU CPU

The ToughBook 33 comes complete with accessories, including a unique "Mini Dock" that features full-sized parallel, serial, PS/2 keyboard/mouse and external SVGA (Super VGA) A screen resolution of 800x600 pixels. Third-party vendors extended IBM's VGA display standard and were the first to use the term. SVGA has also referred to 1,024x768 resolutions. For ease of use the ToughBook 33 allows both keyboard input as well as touch screen function, providing mobile users with the freedom to tailor their work process to specific applications and requirements. Optimal battery life and power savings are achieved by the use of Panasonic's proprietary heat-dispersion design, which eliminates any need for fans or heat sinks to manage CPU temperature.
