New Old Town[R] Sebago Designed for Day-touring Enthusiasts. (On the Market).

Combining the characteristics of the company's popular Castine and Nantucket touring series, Old Town(r) has created a kayak kayak (kī`ăk), Eskimo canoe, originally made of sealskin stretched over a framework of whalebone or driftwood. It is completely covered except for the opening in which the paddler sits.  that is ideal for the day paddler. The new Sebago is perfect for a day on the river or lake as well as along a protected coastal shoreline.

Weighing in at 47 pounds and measuring 11 feet 9 inches, the Sebago loads and unloads easily from car tops and makes getting to the water effortless. Once in the water, the upswept bow and flared sides allow it to handle waves while the shallow arc bottom provides stability. In fact, the easy handling and solid stability make the Sebago an ideal touring kayak for women or smaller paddlers. Constructed from Old Town's rugged PolyLink3 [TM] material, the Sebago is also extremely durable and insulated in·su·late
