Why do people flock antique shops and collect these materials from the past? There is no doubt that these antiques are valuable and serve as great investments as well. But these treasured items give antique collectors a deeper appreciation of their ancestors? rich past.

The 17th and 18th centuries are considered as the golden era of chests. During these times, these large boxes made of wood or metal are constant fixtures in the homes of both the rich aristocrats and poor people.
