 Hills, Mich., has expanded its Retain family of resins containing recycled material through an alliance with MRC See Maximum return criterion.  Polymers, a Chicago-based recycler. MRC will produce the materials for sale by Dow Automotive. Retain polymers are engineering resins that contain 100% post-industrial and post-consumer reclaim. They are aimed primarily at injection molded interior, exterior, and underhood applications, though there is potential for future blow molding uses.

Current grades include polycarbonate A category of plastic materials used to make a myriad of products, including CDs and CD-ROMs. , glass-filled PC, and PC/ABS PC/ABS Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene .
