New Member of SAS Airline Management Team: Wittrup Willumsen Appointed Head of Product Management and Marketing.

Jens Wittrup Willumsen has been appointed Senior Vice President for SAS (1) (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, www.sas.com) A software company that specializes in data warehousing and decision support software based on the SAS System. Founded in 1976, SAS is one of the world's largest privately held software companies. See SAS System.  Marketing & Product Management (Stockholm Stock Exchange The Stockholm Stock Exchange (Swedish: Stockholmsbörsen) is a stock exchange located in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1863 [1] it is the primary securities exchange of the Nordic Countries. : SAS.). In this position, his responsibilities include the airline's brand, product development, market communications and loyalty program.

Wittrup Willumsen will be a member of the newly formed SAS management team and Marie Ehrling Marie Ehrling is a Swedish Executive, (Born May 5, 1955) who was listed #85 in Forbes' 2006 List of 100 Most Powerful Women.

Formerly deputy chief executive of SAS, Sweden's national airline, which she left in 2002, after 20 years, when she was passed over for the top spot.

Jens Wittrup Willumsen was born in 1960 and is an economics graduate. He returns to SAS after spending the past five years as president of Mediacom in Denmark and president of Denmark's ACNielsen AIM A/S.

He worked for SAS from 1989-1996 in Sweden and Denmark, foremostly heading marketing operations in Denmark.
