In 2000, its population was 111,360. It forms part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is named for Richard Ellis, president of the convention that produced the Texas Declaration of Independence. . Pritchett is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Southern Methodist University, at Dallas, Tex.; United Methodist; coeducational; chartered 1911. The school's facilities include laboratories for electron microscopy and stable isotopes, a museum of paleontology, and a graduate research center. in Dallas with a B.B.A. in Personnel and Economics and a B.A. in Architecture. He is also a distinguished graduate of USAF Flight Training.
