New Marketing Services Manager Joins LDT; Growth and Increased Commitment to Customer Service Require Expanded Position.

Steven Elfrink has joined Laser Diagnostic Technologies in the position of marketing services manager.

Elfrink's primary responsibilities encompass all global training activities for customers, distributors and employees and include sales training, education and support activities for the Sales and Marketing departments.

Elfrink has extensive ophthalmic experience. Most recently, he was a product manager for INTACS refractive inserts at KeraVision Inc. While employed by Bausch & Lomb (formerly Chiron Vision) as educational resource manager, Elfrink managed the highly successful Casebeer refractive courses. In both positions he was involved in the introduction and contributed to the success of several eye care devices and procedures. In addition, Elfrink worked at the Phillips Eye Institute where he honed his training, educational and marketing skills.

Elfrink is a graduate of Moorhead State University in Minnesota and is a Certified Surgical Technician.
