The six free events will provide testing and screening for high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, eyesight eye·sight n. 1. The faculty of sight; vision. 2. Range of vision; view. and general health counseling. The NLCDC volunteer medical team continues its summer schedule which began six years ago. As part of the mission to establish "Free" community health fairs, the NLCDC has held 18 health fairs and served 1,600 of the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals from 46 different countries of origin. In 2006, this campaign has been broadened in order to reach more people. "The Health Center is the centerpiece of the NLCDC.
