New Journal titles from Informa Group.
"International Journal of Digital Earth," launched by Taylor & Francis (Philadelphia, PA) with a March issue in partnership with the International Society for Digital Earth, is a new quarterly title whose mission is to offer a platform for the exchange of research findings across various disciplines related to the monitoring, measuring and forecasting of natural and human activity on the planet. Content includes science and technology articles on such topics as digital earth theory, geoinformatics, data processing, data mining and artificial intelligence, integration of remote sensing/GPS, mobile mapping systems and geo-spatial science. An annual subscription costs $333.
"Critical Studies on Terrorism," published beginning this spring by Informa unit Routledge, carries research on all aspects of terrorism, counter-terrorism and state terror. The new quarterly title includes information on such topics as: preconditions and facilitating factors of terrorism; analysis of political terror; comparative histories of terrorism and counter-terrorism; state terror and political repression; torture and human rights/civil liberties; media studies; conflict resolution; and, gender dimensions of political terror. An annual subscription costs $324.
Also to published four times a year by Taylor & Francis, "International Journal of RF Technologies: Research & Applications" will be launched later this year to carry information and research results regarding RF technology deployment, data analytics, and business value creation. T&F said all articles will have a clear link to the creation of business value and will cover data capture, data analysis, areas for improvement and the development and use of software-related RF technologies. It will also cover communications networks, digital and wireless communication, electromagnetics, logistics, mobile systems, production systems and automation, supply chain management and warehousing. An annual subscription costs $444.
