New Infrastructure dollars for the Northeast.

Northern Ontario Heritiage Fund Corporation (NOHFC NOHFC Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (Government of Ontario, Canada) ) is providing $720,000 to refurbish the Temagami Welcome Centre and another $281,945 will be used to upgrade water treatment plants to comply with provincial drinking water drinking water

supply of water available to animals for drinking supplied via nipples, in troughs, dams, ponds and larger natural water sources; an insufficient supply leads to dehydration; it can be the source of infection, e.g. leptospirosis, salmonellosis, or of poisoning, e.g.
 standards. Roof repairs, air exchange system installations along with electrical construction will be part of-the Temagami Welcome centre improvements.

The facility is used as a community theatre, tourism and employment centre, chamber of commerce office, public library, art gallery, community boardroom and municipal offices. The Temagami North and Temagami South water treatment plants will be upgraded to provide safe drinking water to approximately 1,400 households.
