New IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager debuts at Sirius Computer Solutions.

Sirius Computer Solutions has announced availability of IBM's latest storage software with autonomic capabilities to help improve return on investment and reduce storage costs.

IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager also provides self-optimizing functions to improve storage utilization and ensure availability of critical business applications.

Available from Sirius Computer Solutions, this new software acts as the dashboard for the storage environment by providing a set of tools that allow customers to monitor and report on their storage environment as well as take automated actions that simplify storage administration.

IBM's Total Storage Solution Centers (TSSCs) deliver one-stop shopping for storage hardware, software, and consulting services giving customers an opportunity to test drive IBM's latest products. Sirius recently expanded through its acquisition of Portland, Oregon based Symatrix Technology. Prior to the expansion, Sirius offered a TSSC in Dallas, Texas. As a result of its expansion efforts, Sirius now also offers a Total Storage Solutions Center in Portland, Oregon. Both the Portland and Dallas centers are available for test-driving the new Tivoli products.
