New Hampshire: New London recreation director passes away.Robert C. Andrews, 45, died Dec. 4, 2005, at the New London New London, city (1990 pop. 24,540), New London co., SE Conn., on the Thames River near its mouth on Long Island Sound; laid out 1646 by John Winthrop, inc. 1784. Hospital. Andrews served as the recreation director for the town of New London for five years. He was one of the founders of Kearsarge Soccer Club, played soccer at Grantham Indoor and was an avid soccer and lacrosse lacrosse (ləkrôs`), ball and goal game usually played outdoors by two teams of 10 players each on a field 60 to 70 yd (54.86 to 64.01 m) wide by 110 yd (100.58 m) long. Two goals face each other 80 yd (73. referee. Andrews was very involved with the New London Outing Club and dedicated many hours to all aspects of the club. He served on the board as well as working on the fields. He enjoyed coaching many groups, including the KRHS KRHS Kittatinny Regional High School (Newton, New Jersey) KRHS Kingswood Regional High School (Wolfeboro, NH, USA) KRHS Kingswood Regional High School (New Hampshire) Ski Team, Kearsarge Youth Hockey, Kearsarge Youth Soccer and Youth Baseball. He was instrumental in Bucklin Beach's pavilion, the kayaks and boats, Elkins' upcoming renovation, and working tirelessly for the Community Center plan. He also spent many hours on the ice skating ice skating, gliding along an ice surface on keellike runners known as ice skates. Skating as a Sport Skating, besides being an important form of winter recreation and the essential skill in the game of ice hockey (see hockey, ice) has developed rink for the enjoyment of its users.
