New HEDIS tool.

Medstat, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Catalyst Technologies, Atlanta, have formed an alliance to provide health plans with a new Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) tool. Catalyst will integrate a Medstat point-and-click front-end interface with its back-end processing to help create measurable results for submission to the National Committee of Quality Assurance. The new software will be available for HEDIS 2004 reporting.
