This is another in the series of guides (e.g., Defense Acquisition Guidebook, Systems Engineering Plan Preparation Guide, Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule Guide, Risk Management Guide) developed by Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition and Technology), Systems and Software Engineering, to assist acquisition programs in their technical planning and implementation to more effectively deliver capability to the warfighter "Warfighter" is a term used by the United States Department of Defense to refer to any member of the US armed forces or a member of any armed forces under the US flag.
