New Group Chief Controller for SEB Group.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 2001

Per-Arne Blomquist has been appointed Group Chief Controller of the SEB Noun 1. SEB - a form of staphylococcal enterotoxin that has been used as an incapacitating agent in biological warfare

 Group, with responsibility for the Group's financial control and controller functions.

He will report directly to Anders Rydin, SEB's CFO See Chief Financial Officer. .

Per-Arne joins SEB from Halogen AB, where he was CFO and COO for the Halogen group. He previously held senior financial positions at Telia and Alfa Laval Alfa Laval AB is a Swedish company, founded in 1883 by Gustaf de Laval and Oscar Lamm. The company is a leading producer of specialized products and solutions used to heat, cool, separate and transport products such as oil, water, chemicals, beverages, foodstuffs, starch and .

Per-Arne Blomquist will assume his new position in May.

In conjunction with Per-Arne Blomquist's appointment, the current head of the Group's financial function, Jan Siling, will move to a position as Senior Adviser to the Group's CFO.
