New Edge Networks Named Among Fastest Growing Private Companies in Oregon, SW Washington.


VANCOUVER, Wash. -- New Edge Networks said today it was named among one of the fastest growing private companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington for the third consecutive year. The Portland Business Journal newspaper published the annual lists of the 100 fastest growing and largest private companies in a June 17, special edition.

With $115.1 million in revenue for 2004, New Edge Networks ranked number 35 on the 2005 list of the 100 fastest growing private companies. Among companies with the highest revenue, New Edge Networks had the third largest revenue growth rate. New Edge Networks produced revenue growth of 123 percent over a three-year qualifying period from 2002 through 2004.

New Edge Networks ranked No. 5 on the 2004 fastest growing private company list and No. 1 in 2003. To qualify for the list, privately owned companies must have verifiable revenues of at least $250,000 in 2002 and annual revenue growth through 2004.

Also this year, New Edge Networks made its debut on the Portland Business Journal's list as the 24th largest private company in the region. New Edge Networks was formed in 1999.
