New Digitrex(R) High-Definition Network LCD TVs Add Support for Microsoft Windows Media Connect.

Industry newcomer, ED Digital, through collaboration with Microsoft Corp., will include Windows Media Connect support in the company's new Digitrex(R) High-Definition Network LCD TVs. With native support of Windows Media Connect consumers will be able to view and listen to digital content stored on their Windows XP-based PC, through their Digitrex TV. Windows Media Connect support will also allow Digitrex TVs to be compatible with digital media capabilities in the forthcoming Windows Vista The current version of Windows for the desktop. It was released in late 2006 for businesses and early 2007 for consumers.
