New Dietary Guidelines Hard to Digest.

The U.S. government's new Dietary Guidelines are helping individuals make healthier food choices. However, adhering to the recommendations may be challenging for the 79 million Americans who avoid eating many healthful foods due to uncomfortable and embarrassing digestive distress. This discomfort is due to a recently identified, little-known, but highly treatable food intolerance called Complex Carbohydrate Intolerance (CCI).
