. Most useful are Brolin's recommendations for practice in the U.S. Based on his Australian experience, he makes suggestions in the areas of vocational evaluation, vocational training, independent living, and other areas. Also useful to practitioners is Desmon's discussions of placement programming.

The second monograph looks at programs which bridge school to work life for youths with disabilities. This paper discusses the philosophy and goals of such programs, the problems the programs need to overcome, and the options available to the programs. Recommendations are also made for future directions.

Finally, the last monograph discusses the Workcare Program. The paper is a valued discussion of one state's unique attempt to deal with industrial injuries.

These monographs help rehabilitationists view the efforts and attempts of other countries to solve some of the same problems. We should use these reports as part of our knowledge base thus benefiting from efforts which precede our planning and design.

The WRF has given us an exchange program which enriches our store of data and understanding on a variety of rehabilitation issues.
