Digital Photography is a "filmless" medium for visual communication allowing high resolution, color images to be captured and sent directly to a computer to be modified, enhanced, combined with other images, or readied for printing. "Practical advancements in digital photography make it an increasingly valuable tool for commercial and industrial clients," said Bahner. "Offering digital along with film photography under one roof gives us the ability to select the best and most cost-effective solution for every situation."

Studio Tour, Free CD-ROM Available

Bahner says he expects that D/X's business will initially be split about evenly between film and digital photography. "But that ratio should tilt in favor of digital once our clients familiarize themselves with the process and get a firsthand look at the advantages," he added.

"Digital is the way of the future," said Bahner. "Going fully digital doesn't make sense for every company or project, but working with D/X can be a good first step or alternative." He invites prospective clients to take a half-hour, hands-on tour of D/X's new 4,500-square-foot facility overlooking Skidmore Fountain and added, "We're here to serve as knowledgeable consultants about the best imaging solution for each specific need."

D/X's photo portfolio is available on CD-ROM, free to prospective clients.
