This addition to Convergys' expanded global billing product portfolio enables emerging and incumbent multiservice providers to support a full range of business-to-business and residential IP-based offerings with convergent rating, billing, mediation, and activation capabilities. Next generation services include any combination of voice, video, or data such as IP telephony, gaming, virtual private networks, e-commerce, Internet access and Web, and application and business process hosting.

Built on Convergys' innovative next-generation framework, the Convergys IP Suite integrates capabilities of Convergys' award-winning Geneva(TM) rating and billing module along with its Activation Manager and Mediation Manager application modules. The suite can be integrated quickly with third-party applications, legacy billing and customer care systems, and Convergys end-to-end billing products through open application programming interfaces (API). The suite is available in a license, outsourced, or build-operate-transfer delivery model.

Convergys application suites address convergent services needs with broad functionality by integrating Convergys modules and, where appropriate, other third-party components. These suites are preintegrated to provide cost-effective add-on functionality or may be configured using standard APIs to meet client-specific needs when an out-of-the-box solution is not the best fit. Convergys' application suites are also offered with a core-custom option that enables operators to modify their systems to meet specific requirements and still take advantage of Convergys-funded product upgrade release plans.
