New Chipset, Chassis Deliver More Performance, Convenience for Dell Workstation Customers.

Better performance and a new chassis mark the worldwide introduction of the Dell (Nasdaq:DELL) Precision Workstation 360, company officials announced today.

The single-processor workstation offers significantly improved front-side bus and memory bandwidth over the previous generation and a new desktop chassis with high-end graphics support and added expandability.

The new workstation, with its Intel(R) 875P chipset featuring Performance Acceleration Technology The Intel Performance Acceleration Technology (PAT) delivers additional system-level performance by optimizing memory access between CPU and system memory, and allows increased performance at standard operating specifications. , is designed to enhance system performance through reduced memory latency. The Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processors with 800 MHz FSB (FrontSide Bus) See system bus.
