New CIO at Rockefeller.


Robert C. Jackson has been named to the newly created position of Chief Investment Officer for Rockefeller Group The Rockefeller Group is a global private company based in New York City, primarily involved in real estate operations in the United States. It is fully owned by Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd.  Development Corporation (RGDC RGDC Rockefeller Group Development Corporation ), a subsidiary of The Rockefeller Group based in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

. Jackson will be responsible various finance activities for RGDC including securing financing for development projects and overall financial budgeting.

Jackson joined the Rockefeller Group in 1974, serving in The Rockefeller Group's Finance Department as auditor and then as financial analyst until his transfer to RGDC in 1981.

He has been instrumental in many of The Rockefeller Group's most significant sales including 1251 Avenue of the Americas in midtown Manhattan and several projects in New Jersey and Southern Florida. He was instrumental in securing construction loans and financing for Embarcadero Center The Embarcadero Center is a commercial complex of six towers (four office, two Hyatt hotels) and one office tower on a 9.8 acre (39,655 square meters) site that is located in the San Francisco's financial district close to the Embarcadero.  and Embarcadero Center West in San Francisco and, more recently, a call center for Delta Airlines in an RGDC development in Miramar, Florida.
