Olsen was the president of CarePoint Network Inc. in Utah; the former CEO of FHP Utah Hospital and Medical Campus; and vice president of Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. American Family Care in Utah is a division of Molina Medical Centers, with headquarters in Long Beach. The company's Utah operations consist of about 4500 Medicaid members from the counties of Davis, Salt Lake and Utah. American Family Care's parent company -- Molina Medical Centers -- is one of California's largest managed care plans serving Medi-Cal beneficiaries with more than 160,000 members. American Family Care also participates as one of only three health plans in Utah's CHIP Program, which serves children who were previously uninsured.
