ExperCom of Utah is opening a new Apple authorized sales and service location to serve the Salt Lake area located at 256 East 6400 South, just south of the Fashion Place Mall.

The new ExperCom store in Murray will feature a full line of Apple hardware and software, a variety of printers, scanners, cameras, camcorders and third-party software. ExperCom is also a full-service Apple Authorized Service Provider.

ExperCom will carry the recently announced PowerMac G5, featuring the world's first 64-bit desktop processor and the industry's first 1 Ghz front-side bus. The PowerMac G5 has the industry's highest system bandwidth as well as the industry's fastest PCI interface available on a desktop. The PowerMac G5 will be available in August.

Apple has the hottest MP3 player on the market; the ultra-portable iPod holds up to 7,500 songs and weighs less than two CDs. The iPod plays more than eight hours of continuous music on a single charge and is both Mac and Windows compatible.

Apple has been on the upswing in recent years. In the last two years Apple has gained in consumer PC sales, especially with notebook computers. Their share of consumer PC unit sales rose 1.9% and their notebook PC market shares has risen 6.5%.(a)
