New 6KVA AND 10KVA UPS Systems from Tripp Lite Offer True On-Line Protection.

Tripp Lite, a leading manufacturer of power protection products, introduces its most powerful UPS protection to date: new 6KVA and 10KVA Unison(R) true on-line UPS Systems. These new systems utilize Tripp Lite's high-frequency double conversion technology to provide internetworking, datacenter, telecom and mid-range computing applications with pure, uninterrupted sine wave power.

Tripp Lite's Unison UPSs are true on-line UPS systems. They continually convert incoming AC (utility) power to filtered DC (battery) power, then resynthesize it back to low-harmonic, frequency-controlled AC power. This constant on-line operation generates a pure sine wave output with zero transfer time, while completely isolating connected equipment against all power problems (including brownouts, blackouts, surges and line noise).

A unique feature of the new 6KVA and 10KVA UPSs is a Line-Interactive Mode option, allowing users to switch these UPSs into an energy-saving mode when on-line protection is not needed. This feature increases the UPS's overall power efficiency, resulting in considerably reduced operating costs while not affecting system output reliability under brownout or blackout conditions.

Unison UPS systems provide ample runtimes to keep critical systems up and running through power outages. Unlimited battery packs can be added to the 6KVA and 10KVA models to create virtually limitless runtimes. These battery packs include Tripp Lite's exclusive integrated battery chargers. Integrated chargers allow battery pack configurations of any size to recharge to full capacity in a fraction of the time required by competitive models which rely solely on the main power module for battery recharging. Unison 6KVA and 10KVA models include two built-in serial communications ports and one AS400 dry-contact interface port. PowerAlert(R) Software is the first truly integrated, enterprise-wide UPS management software. Problems that would normally be missed in multiple logs are easily identified and reported to IS managers.
