Variability from previously reported results (for Au, Pt and Pd) is
due to different analytical techniques, a different sample size and
possibly a nugget effect from these high grade samples;
BD = below detection.

Results were determined by Actlabs using neutron activation analysis Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) is a nuclear process used for determining certain concentrations of elements in a vast amount of materials. NAA allows discrete sampling of elements as it disregards the chemical form of a sample, and focuses solely on its nucleus.  following a NiS fire assay. Results for Au, Pt and Pd have been reported previously for these samples. Most of the samples are from the Canwell property while the Rainy-1 sample is from the East Rainy occurrence and AD-02-020 is from the Ice Complex occurrence. Samples reporting greater than 10% nickel are from massive sulphide mineralization Mineralization

 while the remainder are from net textures sulphide mineralization (see News Releases dated November 6, 2002 and November 26, 2002 for the initial reporting of these samples and descriptions.)

These results confirm similar occurrences of high concentrations of rare PGE's relative to platinum and palladium first observed at the Wellgreen Mine within the Kluane Belt, Yukon and shown to extend to the Nikolai rocks within the MAN project area in adjacent Alaska by Dr. Larry Hulbert of the Geological Survey of Canada.

The 150 square mile MAN project is ideally situated in east central Alaska, south of Fairbanks and northeast of Anchorage and is accessible by two paved highways. The Company is in the planning stages for its 2003 field program that will include ground geophysical surveys for final target definition, to be followed by drilling.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NEVADA STAR RESOURCE CORP.

APPENDIX

The Platinum Group Elements are amongst the most rare of all metals. The key uses of PGE's are mainly as catalysts and alloys; however, they have a continually expanding importance in high tech and fuel cell applications.

-- Platinum is used in catalytic devices, fuel cells and in the manufacturing apparatus for laboratory and industrial use, thermocouples, platinum resistance thermometers, acid proof containers, electrodes, etc. In dentistry; jewelry; electroplating electroplating: see plating.
electroplating

Process of coating with metal by means of an electric current. Plating metal may be transferred to conductive surfaces (e.g., metals) or to nonconductive surfaces (e.g.
; as oxidation catalyst in manufacture of acetic acid, nitric acid from ammonia, manufacture of sulfuric acid; control of automotive emissions; spinnerets for rayon and glass fiber manufacture; permanent magnets. Medication: Platinum metal is used as support for fractured bones.

-- Palladium is used in gold, silver and copper alloys in dentistry. Alloys are also used for bearings, strings, and balance wheels in watches. Palladium is used as a catalyst in the manufacture of sulfuric acid. In powder form it is used as a catalyst in hydrogeneration. The sponge form is used for separation of hydrogen from a mixture of gases. Silver alloys are used for electrical contacts. The automotive industry has used palladium in catalytic converters since 1974. In jewelry, palladium hardened with 4-5% ruthenium provides a light, white, strong, tarnish-free alloy for watch cases, brooches, and settings for gems. For alloy bearings, springs, balance wheels of watches; for mirrors in astronomical instruments; as catalyzer in manufacture of sulfuric acid and in other oxidizing processes

-- Iridium has found use in making crucibles and apparatus for use at high temperatures. It is also used for electrical contacts. Its principal use is as a hardening agent for platinum. With osmium, it forms an alloy which is used for tipping pens, and compass bearings.

-- Osmium metal is used almost exclusively to produce very hard alloys, with other metals of the platinum group, for fountain pen tips, instrument pivots, phonograph needles, and electrical contacts.

-- Rhodium is used in alloy with platinum for catalysts and thermocouples; for spinnerets in rayon production; for glass-fiber bushings; for furnace winding; component of dental alloys; electroplating agent for bright or reflective surfaces; for electrical contacts; ingredient in gold decorations on glass and porcelain; as a corrosion-resistant electroplate for protecting silverware from tarnishing; for making high-reflectivity mirrors for cinema projectors and searchlights; spongy spongy /spon·gy/ (spun´je) of a spongelike appearance or texture.

spong·y
adj.
Resembling a sponge in appearance, elasticity, or porosity.
 or black form as catalyst in organic hydrogenation hydrogenation (hīdrôj`ənā'shən, hī'drəjənā`shən), chemical reaction of a substance with molecular hydrogen, usually in the presence of a catalyst.  or organic oxidation reactions; plating optical instruments; for jewelry & decoration; strong, complexing agent.

-- Ruthenium is one of the most effective hardeners for platinum and palladium, and is alloyed with these metals to make electrical contacts for severe wear resistance.
