"Based on initial interest, we expect wide Nevada Numbers distribution throughout the state," said Russ Roth, president of LVGI. "Customers understand the game immediately. To people who live here, Nevada Numbers looks like a keno game, with a huge jackpot. To visitors, it looks like their state lotteries, with better odds. But it is neither a keno game, nor a state lottery."

"We at Park Place are excited to join with LVGI to bring this big participation-jackpot game to Nevada," said Tom Sears, vice president of operations for Park Place. "With multiple properties throughout the state, Park Place is uniquely positioned to provide locations to launch a game of this magnitude. To our knowledge, no other company has introduced a similar statewide promotion before. The multimarket launch, with other casino companies poised to join us, will help grow the progressive payoff to impressive levels.

"Basing Nevada Numbers in our keno lounges brings new excitement to those areas," said Sears. "We've had positive customer response so far, beginning with a 'soft opening' June 25, with internal promotion only, at Bally's and Paris. The multigame ticket allows players to take the excitement home with them and check winning numbers by phone or on the Internet."

Players can choose five numbers or opt for a Quick Pick (randomly selected computer-generated numbers). Players who catch four-of-five numbers win $2,000. Those who catch three-of-five win $20. The pay-out for two-of-five is $2; and one-of-five pays $1. Winning tickets for catching one through four numbers are paid by the issuing casino. LVGI pays the grand prize.

Participants must be age 21 or older.

LVGI has established a 24-hour information hotline for draw results, jackpot amounts, new locations and prize payouts; phone 866/879-5844. Similar information is available online at nevadanumbers.com and at parkplace.com.
