Network World Live's IT Roadmap: Dallas Conference Will Open to Full House; More than 1,000 IT Decision-Makers Registered for One-Day, Information-Packed Event.

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- Network World Live, producer of the IT Roadmap conference and expo series, today announced that its Dallas conference has sold out its sponsor/exhibition space and topped 1,000 registrants for the September 13 event.

The success of the series is a direct result of its model: bringing solid, actionable content in digestible digestible

In the summer of 2005, Network World Live sponsored research to determine how IT decision-makers prefer to meet vendors, analyze networking solutions, and gain insight into the hot button issues directly affecting their network. The content and structure of the IT Roadmap series, which will reach four cities in 2006, was built based on direct feedback from this audience.

Karen Shockley, director of applications support for AMTRAK, attended the IT Roadmap: Boston conference in March. Following the event, Shockley said, "This conference was among the most professional I've ever attended. The material was excellent, the speakers knowledgeable and to the point, and the time allowed to each topic was right on target. I highly recommend this conference to my colleagues interested in furthering their knowledge in networking."

"Networking professionals have more than their fair share of responsibilities maintaining, improving, and maximizing their company infrastructures," said John Gallant John Gallant is a lacrosse player for the Colorado Mammoth in the National Lacrosse League. Before signing on with the Colorado Mammoth, Gallant played for the Washington Power for one season. , president and editorial director of Network World. "We respect their time limitations and designed the IT Roadmap series to deliver the content they need, when and where they need it."

IT Roadmap: Dallas will explore the seven topic areas identified as the highest priorities to network IT decision-makers as they plan improvements and allocate IT budgets for their companies. Those topics are:

--Application & Content Security

--The New Data Center

--Enterprise Mobility

--Network Management

--Storage & Data Compliance

--VoIP, Convergence & Collaboration

--Network & Application Acceleration
