Network Solutions Offers Expedited Registrant Name Change Service.

Network Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSOL) today launched its Priority Registrant Name Change Agreement (RNCA) Service for customers who want to expedite a name change to a domain name registration.

Each month, thousands of RNCAs are submitted to make a change to the registrant's legal name or transfer the domain name registration to another party, among other reasons. The new priority service ensures that an RNCA will be processed and completed within 2 business days provided the customer supplies the requisite information to process the change.

"We provide unlimited name change service free of charge with every registration, but previously only on a first-come, first-served basis," said Doug Wolford, general manager of Network Solutions' Registrar and Value Added Services. "Now, by offering an RNCA priority service to our customers, we're meeting a demand for those who require a two-day turnaround. RNCA requests typically require additional research to ensure the authenticity of signatures and documents and are processed in the order they are received. There is currently no charge for the service. With the new priority service, RNCAs submitted with correct information by 3:00 p.m. EST will be completed within 2 business days at a cost of $199 per domain name change.
