Network Solutions Appoints Five Executives to Vice President Positions.

--John McInnes recently joined the Registrar as vice president of Network Infrastructure Integration, reporting to chief information officer Rick Walsh. Jeffrey Johnson recently received a promotion from director to vice president of Network Solutions' idNames(TM), reporting to Doug Wolford.

--For the Registry, Thomas Newell received a promotion from director to vice president of Registy DNS (Domain Name System) A system for converting host names and domain names into IP addresses on the Internet or on local networks that use the TCP/IP protocol. For example, when a Web site address is given to the DNS either by typing a URL in a browser or behind the  Programs, reporting to general manager Bruce Chovnick.
