Network Intelligence Broadens Interoperability with Juniper Networks.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Worldwide Customers and Channel Partners Anticipate Joint Interoperability to Support Expanding Deployments and Customer Base while Leveraging IDP

(NASDAQ: JNPR). The Network Intelligence Engine(TM) supports JUNOS operating system software; Juniper Networks NetScreen firewalls, including NetScreen Deep Inspection; and now announces support of Juniper Networks NetScreen Intrusion Detection and Prevention (NetScreen-IDP). The Network Intelligence Engine provides the only architecture proven to efficiently collect and protect all the data that drives customers' businesses. The interoperability with Juniper Networks NetScreen-IDP technology, allows customers to leverage deep packet inspection and layer 7 analyses, which offers the ability to analyze both real-time and historical data generated by Juniper Networks devices, thereby transforming seemingly unrelated network and application events into compliance and security intelligence.

Channel partners such as Denver-based Accuvant recommend the Network Intelligence Engine to manage data generated by Juniper Networks platforms. --The new Juniper Networks NetScreen-IDP, which provides inline attack protection against worms, viruses and Trojans. Using multiple methods of detection along with powerful signature customization capabilities, NetScreen-IDP effectively identifies and stops attacks on the network, minimizing the time and costs associated with intrusions.

--JUNOS operating system software, a key component of the Juniper Networks routing platforms.

--Juniper Networks NetScreen firewalls, which provide advanced network-level protection. Firewalls with Deep Inspection can also offer protection against application-level attacks and protocol deviations targeting services such as web, email and file transfer resources.

Interoperability between Network Intelligence and Juniper Networks platforms is on display at the RSA Conference in Network Intelligence's booth, number 137. Demos are targeted to be available in late Q2 in six worldwide Juniper Networks POC centers.
