Craig Calafiore hired as new EVP Sales, firm moves to larger offices

NEW YORK -- Network Infrastructure Technology (NIT Connect), a leading provider of IT outsourcing and services, is expanding its professional staff and management team, and is moving to larger office space, in response to increasing demand for its services.

Craig Calafiore, a 23-year veteran in the technology industry, has joined NIT Connect as Executive Vice President Sales. Calafiore oversees sales activities for both NIT Health, NIT's business unit focused on serving healthcare providers, and NIT Connect, serving small to mid-size professional, manufacturing and service industries. In his new capacity, Calafiore will help coordinate the services offered to hospitals and clinics, which are facing significant challenges associated with the rapidly growing demands for IT services in this sector, driven by the implementation of electronic medical records systems, needs for better connectivity and information sharing among providers' networks, and increased demand for better data safety and security.

Prior to joining NIT, Calafiore held several executive positions overseeing growing sales and customer support activities in companies providing technology solutions to diverse client bases, including Aquis Communications, The Cal Group, Inc., and Skytel, Inc.
