Netopia to Showcase 3-D Reach Wi-Fi Technology at SUPERCOMM.


Who:    Netopia, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTPA), a market leader in broadband
        gateways and service delivery software.

What:   Netopia will showcase its 3-D Reach(TM) Wi-Fi technology as
        part of the DSL Forum's "DSLHome(TM) Roadshow" which will
        showcase new and existing home network applications in a mock
        home setting and highlight the link with existing and new DSL
        standards and services. The DSL Forum is the non-profit
        industry consortium comprised of approximately 200 global
        telecommunications and broadband industry leaders.

        Netopia will provide the Wi-Fi network for the "teenager's
        room" portion of the booth and demonstrate how simple it is
        for multiple wireless-enabled devices to simultaneously
        connect to the network.

        Netopia representatives will be on-hand to field questions and
        conduct technology demonstrations at the DSL Forum booth
        #20229.
